We are formwerk

Formwerk was founded in 1996 by Nils Naporra and is based in Berlin. We develop innovative concepts for retail, office and public buildings that meet the specific requirements of the market. We are passionate about new challenges and the transformation of existing spaces into places of well-being. Our passion for design drives us to continuously strive for sustainable solutions and to achieve their goals together with our customers.

Formwerk Story

Formwerk was founded in 1996 by Nils Naporra in Berlin.
With strong roots in retail, we have been developing holistic concepts for almost three decades. In addition to our many years of expertise in retailing we have consistently expanded our business areas. Today, our focus is increasingly on sustainable, future-oriented solutions in the areas New Work, Hospitality and building in existing buildings.

We help companies, brands and asset managers create spaces that meet the requirements of tomorrow — functional, identity-creating and with high design standards. Whether it's office space, hotels or hybrid usage concepts — we rethink buildings, recognize potential and translate them into intelligent, emotionally perceptible environments. Together with our clients, we develop economic visions that last in reality.

What is the short profile of formwerk in one sentence?

Formwerk stands for sustainable and individual development and implementation of residential, commercial and retail spaces.

What are the benefits of general planning?

- We are the only contract partner and therefore assume overall responsibility

- All planning services from a single source

- Professional specialist planner coordination

- Cost and schedule security

Who benefits from using the building resource pass?

- Owners of new or existing buildings are provided with information about the actual materials used and possible harmful substances that are hazardous to health.

- Municipalities can benefit from the preparation of project-specific building resource passes. For example, they can serve as a basis for setting up and managing urban mines. In the future, the format could also provide the basis for approving resource-optimized, circular buildings.
